GreenCargo moves its entire city delivery fleet to electric vans
The company has bought 50 new electric vans for work in the metropolis. The move will cut carbon emissions by 40 tonnes a year.
GreenCargo has announced that its city delivery now runs entirely on electric transport. Fifty electric vans replace the diesel vehicles on inner-city routes, and charging stations will be installed on the grounds of the HLC terminal.
The company notes that the switch will not change delivery times: the vans’ range covers a whole day’s route, and charging happens overnight on its own site.
